Our Story

In 2021, Street Dog Bakery was born from the simple idea: our dogs deserve treats that are just as flavorful, exciting, and full of love as the food we cook for ourselves!

🐶 The inspiration came from my own pup, Rasgulla. Every time my mom cooked Indian food, we would hear the patter of his paws running to the kitchen, captivated by the rich aromas that filled the house. Watching him eagerly wait for a taste sparked a question. Why aren't there more dog treats inspired by these incredible flavors?

🦴 For those of us in the South Asian diaspora, food is how we preserve our heritage, tell our stories, and stay connected to our roots. Our pets are an irreplaceable part of our families, deeply intertwined with our daily lives. By infusing premium, single-origin spices into wholesome pet recipes, Street Dog Bakery is our way of celebrating our culture while creating brand-new traditions with the ones who love us unconditionally.

🧿 What started as homemade treats for one very enthusiastic taste tester soon grew into a mission. At Street Dog Bakery, we're bringing vibrant South Asian-inspired flavors to the dog treat aisle with thoughtfully crafted recipes that celebrate culture, creativity, and the special bond we share with our pets!

Giving Back

Our name is more than just a nod to our inspiration: it's a commitment.

🌏 If you’ve ever visited India, you know that street dogs are woven into the very fabric of daily life. Walking through the vibrant, bustling markets, you see them napping outside storefronts, greeting locals, and acting as part of the neighborhood community. They capture your heart instantly, but they also face unimaginable challenges.

💕 Across South Asia, millions of these independent pups rely on the tireless work of dedicated rescue organizations for food, medical care, shelter, and a chance at a better life. Supporting these efforts is the beating heart of our mission.

🏡, With every purchase, you're helping us give back to rescue partners working to improve the lives of street dogs. Together, we can celebrate the dogs in our homes while helping those still searching for one.
